Parody of This is Just to Say

You have eaten
The plums
I left in
The icebox

So I
have taken
Something
Of yours

Take that!
With your insincere
Apology.
I wont forgive you

  1. Tess, I like how the speaker of your poem directly addresses the speaker of This is Just to Say and recklessly refuses to forgive him/her. I also noticed your form is a bit different from the original poem. You have a two punctuation marks, an exclamation point and a period after "Apology," which is capitalized for some reason. I like the ending stanza. It's "in-your-face" haha! Good job.
